I have a little girl who just turned 2 and has been diagnosed with Atopic dermatitis (Eczema ). Her skin is so sensitive that I have been reluctant to diagnosed use mosquito repellents due to the harmful chemicals that are in them. We live in a very rual area surrounded by lakes, ponds and swamps. We even have a pond on our property and due to this we have a big mosquito issue. All 3 of my children get bit up on regular basis including my husband and I. Needless to say she doesn't get outside to play as much as she should, which makes me feel awful. If this product is safe enough for a childs skin that's as sensitive as my childs I would be willing to try it. If this product doesntis harm her andoutside keeps the mosquitoes away so she is able to enjoy outside as she should it's a blessing.

I am looking for an alternative to the insect repellents that use DEET and Picaridin. I have recently switched to all natural laundry detergents, shampoos, soaps, sunscreen and now am hoping to find a safer insect repellent. My oldest child has eczema and my younger two are showing symptoms as well. Anything I can do to help alleviate their symptoms and create a healthier environment for them, I will do.

My daughter gets a severe reaction to mosquito bites. The affected areas swell up and remain sore and itchy for up to 3 days. I am desperate to try something that is chemical free.

It has been found that there are many natural remedies to help calm the symptoms of eczema. One of the most popular ones is Aloe Vera. Aloe is awesome for the skin and will help you to feel much better.

We are also desperately looking for a safe product that will work. We too have a small child (20 months) who is allergic to mosquito bites (causes itchy, huge sores)has an egg allergy and also has eczema. Everything we use on him has to be completely fragrance free and dye free (laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, lotion.... you get the picture!)We recently used an unscented brand of insect repellent which contained 7% DEET, he broke out in a complete allergic reaction all over his entire body. I am convinced that is what caused it. My little guy LOVES the outdoors and deserves to be able to play and be a normal kid. We are SO hoping this product will work as it sure would make our life so much easier!
