Every winter I grow tomatoes in my garden. Last time the plants were attacked by red spider. It was severe that the three beds were completely destroyed. Plse could you advise me on the best preventive remedy I stay in the Limpopo valley.

I have a dwarf evergreen that has suddenly turned a redish brown and the needles appear to be very dry. a lawn care company placed a notecard on my door stating that the tree was infested with spider mites. The tree is 6 ft. tall and I need to know what will work best to rid the tree of this problem and help to make it totally green again. Which products do you recommend and should I trim all of the branches as well as treat the tree?

Hi Josie,

If you have spider mites outside, make sure you provide enough water for your plants during dry periods. You can try using predatory mites or EcoSMART Organic Lawn Insect Killer. If the spider mites are inside you should remove any heavily infested parts of plants, wash your plants periodically, and apply treatments like EcoSMART Home Pest Control in a 1-2 week interval. can you please help me , i believe i have spider mites in my house and out side. my problem is they follow me every where i go and also bite me. i would please appreciate any information on how to get rid of my problem. thank you
