Natural Bug Control: Everyone Is Going Green
February 11th, 2010 Posted in Green Living & News
The first week of February 2010 is at an end, but with the new year it has become more and more apparent that being environmentally friendly is important. The go green craze is in full effect across the nation because of the dire need to guarantee a healthy and safe future for the planet and future generations.

Any person, organization, school, company, government or entity can choose to go green and the pest control industry is no exception. Today, you can safely and effectively control pests without harming the environment in anyway.
The Go Green Initiative
The Go Green Initiative is a worldwide effort to improve the quality of the environment for today’s generation and the generations of tomorrow. The worlds estimated population by 2050 is estimated to be well over 9 billion. The world’s resources are already stretched to their limit, which means we have to act today to sustain a healthy planet for the future.
We must continue to recycle, conserve and of course educate. With everyone doing their own part we will be one step closer to a healthier and greener planet. The Go Green Initiative is aiming to ensure your children’s future, provide you with trustworthy and relevant information, and give people the environmental education they need to make their own contribution towards the betterment of the environment.
The Student & University Contribution
Students and universities across the nation are also making an effort to make their universities and cities as green as they can be. Students at the University of Georgia have approved a new fee of $3 per student to go towards green initiatives. Students normally protest raises in tuition, but the UGA students imposed this fee upon themselves to help start the allocation of funds to various environmental and sustainability projects.
It is common for students to become active in eco-friendly endeavors because their children are the most likely generation to reap the benefits of a healthy and green planet. These go green efforts are not limited to the University of Georgia, but are occurring among students and universities across the nation.
The Recyclemania campaign has enlisted 607 universities across the United States, Canada and Qatar. This program offers a competitive aspect to the recycling efforts of each university giving many students the extra push they need to start recycling.
Natural Bug Control
This go green craze does not exclude the world of bug control. For years harmful chemical insecticides and chemical pesticides have been used for bug control, but the negative side effects on the environment were not worth ending pest problems. This is why EcoSMART has developed all natural bug spray that is completely harmless to the environment.

When you use are natural ant killer (for instance) you are effectively killing and preventing future pest problems, while causing no negative side effects to the environment. EcoSMART’s organic insecticides and pesticides are not only safe for the environment, but they are safe for use around your children and pets. Therefore, EcoSMART is a great way to successfully control pests and go green all at once.
