Thank you for your prompt reply. I will give the vinegar and baking soda a try.

By the way, your Ant and Roach Killer is effective. The Ants are gone. I'll give it a try on the outdoor ant trails.

Dear Tom Williams,

The only downside to working will essential oils (like those in the Ant and Roach Killer) is their fragrance can be powerful.

If soap and water doesn't work, vinegar and baking soda are also great odor neutralizers.

You can apply baking soda dry to the area and vacuum after an hour or mix and spray with warm water. Also try leaving a box open in the room to absorb the odor.

Also continue to air out the room or use a fan to circulate air.

Good luck!

Help!

How do I neutralize the over-powering smell of cinnamon that remains in my room 3 days after using your Ant and Roach Killer??

I tried to get some customer service at your 877 telephone number and only got voicemail... I looked for a product FAQ on your website, but you don't have one.

3 days ago I sprayed around the baseboard of my bedroom for ants. I applied it liberally - your product label doesn't give any warning about how much to use - but it does say in two places "Safe to use around children and pets." I am an adult and my eyes water when I go into the room and my throat is irritated at night - I feel like I am living inside the hole of a Cinnamon Lifesaver.

I have scrubbed the baseboard with soap and water and aired out the room for 2 days (although I need to close the window when I try to sleep at night because it is cold outside). The scent has decreased some, but it still irritates my eyes and throat and interferes with my sleep.

Is there any way I can neutralize the ingredients. I already tried washing it with a lot of soap and water - but I obviously cannot scrub behind or underneath the baseboard.

I hope you can suggest something.

Thank you,
Tom Williams

Hi Janet,

I would recommend the Wasp and Hornet Killer and/or the Ant and Roach Killer.

You'll have the best results if you spray the carpenter bees when they are in their nest.

Best of luck!

Hi Marcie,

On EcoSMART's website, we have an application that allows you to type in your zip code. It will then point you to the nearest retailer that sells EcoSMART.

You can also shop online for EcoSMART products. Our products contain only natural ingredients that are safe to use around your pets. They are also inexpensive, thanks for your interest!

I am interested in finding a natural way to rid our lawn of crane flies / larvae. Where are the organic pesticides available in our area (zip code 98563), and what do they contain? I have a dog, cat, chickens to consider. We have several patches in our yard infested. Also, cost is a big consideration. Thank you, Marcie
