Sanitation is one of the most successful home remedies for pest control. It is also one of the easiest and safest of all these healthy pest control techniques. By simply cleaning your house (most importantly the basement, attic, bathrooms, and the kitchen) you will curtail the allure of your home to different types of mosquitoes, ants, flies, and other species of insects. Often emptying trashcans, cleaning floors, and washing counter tops will help go a long way towards a healthy insect-free home.

Cats, dogs, and other household pets often bring bugs into your home. This is why constant grooming is important to remove any bugs from their coats and keep your pets healthy. Washing and combing your pets after they’ve been outside will remove ticks, mosquitoes, and other insects from entering your home.
Another form of natural pest control is closing up cracks and crevices that could possibly be entry points for insects into your home. By sealing windows, replacing screens, and chalking holes in your roof or siding you can prevent most insects from entering your home for warmth, food, or other reasons.
Cleaning garden areas of debris and weeds will help eliminate and minimize areas where insects would typically thrive. Minimizing these habitats around your home will help reduce the amount of insects inside and outside your home. Also maintaining the health of your plants, will help keep them strong enough to repel harmful insects and pests.

Going with the same idea as the last technique, removing dead or dying plants will help stop attracting insects to the outside of your home. Dead and dying plants are nourishment for more insects than healthy and vibrant plants are. Healthy plants can repel garden pests more successfully than a dying plant would be able to. Treating your plants with fertilizers and watering them often will help them live longer lives.
EcoSMART’s organic pesticides are an affordable and effective means of home pest control, that act as a receptor blocker for most species of insects. This form of pest control for the home kills insects because once their receptors are blocked its causes a breakdown in the insect’s body systems.
Since these organic pesticides are developed to target only receptors found in insects; they are harmless to the environment, pets, and most importantly your family.

I’m looking for a natural way to fight ants in my kitchen. I would love to try your products but I’m not sure where to find them in my area.

Very good to know you have products to treat the pantry pests. However, I wonder how spraying will help get rid of bugs that are inside the container. Does it attract them? Can I assume that your products prevents pantry pests? I am seriously looking for a non-toxic product to get rid of pantry beetles.

Hello Sri,
That is a correct assumption. Our home pest control is also effective against most types of pantry pests.

I suggest disposing of containers with insects already inside them to prevent any further spread of pests. Our products don’t attract insects, but prevent and remove them from your home.
