San Francisco- Day 1
When we walked out onto the street in San Francisco we were happy to feel the cool air of the city compared to the scorching heat we had just left in Sacramento. We grabbed a hooded sweatshirt and headed to the Crocker Galleria Farmers market. We walked past a loud group of protesters holding picket signs and beating drums. The farmers market was quaint and we enjoyed samples as we passed out our samples.
We headed for an even larger farmers market at the Ferry Plaza. There were lots of food vendors all in a row selling all different kinds of food.there was something for everyone, from sushi to vegan fair. Across the street there were booths filled with beaded necklaces, hand made hats, rings, and various other crafts. We spent several hours walking from one side of the street to the other, meeting families, tourists, and locals out for the afternoon.
After several surveys and hundred of samples, followed the great mass of people pouring in to AT&T stadium for the Giants game. We were surrounded by painted faces, fans wearing orange panda bear hats, and giant variations of orange foam fingers and fists. The cheers got louder as the game got closer. A few minutes before the first pitch, we grabbed our empty bags and headed to the Bikram Yoga studio to drop off some samples and end our day with a relaxing hot yoga class.
